Does reaching out for help mean I am not capable?

No, it does not.

It can be challenging to think about mental health students needing the very support they work towards providing. Mental health care is a universal need, and all that seeking support means is that you are human.

We all have the need to feel connected, be validated and heard.

Mental healthcare professionals starting in the field like you are not an exception.

Meeting your needs elevates your ability to help others Who else to best understand and support you other than those doing the practicum. The support group allows you to connect with other practicum students who are walking, or have recently walked, in your shoes. Taking care of yourself helps take care of your clients
