Frequently asked questions

How much would it cost?

Depending on your clinical needs, our sliding scale fees range from $30-$180 per session. During your free intake assessment, your wraparound support coordinator will focus on recommending the most cost-effective services to help you heal within your budget. We do not charge for wraparound support meetings.

I cannot afford to pay your fees. What are my options?

Please discuss your situation with the wraparound support coordinator during your intake assessment. They will be able to assist you and suggest options that can work for you. You may be requested to complete a funding application which will provide our team with necessary additional information.

What are wraparound services?

Mental health care is one element of wellness, but our overall well being requires multiple needs to be met, such as financial, educational, housing, social, physical health etc.

All these needs are connected and influence each other. For example, if a person’s mental health is strained due to stress about their housing situation, counselling will not be effective until their need for a safe home is addressed.

Your wraparound support coordinator will work closely with you to assess your unique holistic needs, and based on those, you both will form a plan to meet your goals. Your care team will then be composed of collaborative partners and other service providers to assist you in your healing and growth. They will work in parallel with your therapist as you receive counselling.

Your wraparound support coordinator will be your main point of contact and will help by tracking your progress and making adjustments to be sure you can sustainably meet your milestones.

Most people utilize our wraparound support services for 3 to 4 months. If there is a need for continued services, please speak with your wraparound support coordinator.

Will I be able to claim your services from my insurance benefits?

You would need to contact your insurance provider to check your plan coverage. We have social workers and registered counsellors who are covered by most plans.

Is there a wait list?

We endeavour to offer the first appointment within 5 business days. Generally, counselling is in high demand during Fall and Winter. There may be 5 to 10 business days of wait time during those seasons.

How often would I need to attend?

How often your sessions are depends on your clinical needs. After your intake assessment, your counsellor will make a recommendation for your sessions' frequency.
